The new hives!! I laid out a temp "landing pad" for the bees...and will make a platform later on.. my friend dropped of the swarms he caught this year and I'll statrt off with one hive and will expand to 3 or 4.... you can't see the bees in this photo...but they're flying everywhere...and you can definitely hear them!!
Sunday the weather warmed up and my new little friends were enjoying the warmth!! I finally was able to catch photo of the bees flying around....but I still haven't caught he real thing....for it's soooo impressve to see and hear them in person!!! And ya know...these are the most friendly bees!!
I really like this photo....I'm getting closer on my "bee shots'!! I love the way some of the bees look like they're just floating in the air!! Mind ya...I did have a zoom lense....with a doubler attached to it....so it's not like I was sitting in their living room!!!
